Here are some shots from a session I had a few weeks ago. Mr. {k} turned the big 1!! We had a great time playing, but he wasn't too in love with the cake idea.

Rain, Rain, Go Away!!

I met up with the {s} family a couple weeks ago. They traveled all the way from Omaha and the weather turned out not so great. We were able to get a few good shots before the rain ran us out. Here are my favorites, Enjoy!

absolutely LOVED the idea of the mirror. {a} loved it too and had a great time playing with the lil' man in the mirror!

{d} was playing with the umbrella while we were waiting for the rain to slow. I loved how this unexpected shot turned out.

{a} is turning one and they wanted to get some cake eating pictures of him, so we rescheduled another shoot. This day didn't turn out the greatest either, very cloudy. But we had a good time and {a} got to make a mess of the cake :)

smash THAT cake!

{a} has turned 1! We got together after her big bash and did her smash the cake session. She wasn't too interested in the cake, so we got some great pictures of the cake un-smashed :) She loved the little candies on top, but they weren't a very good idea for a one year old, a little scary, but all turned out well.

We had a great time and her she is in all her glory:

Wow what a busy month! I just got back from vacation and am SO behind on posting on my blog! In the next few days there will be MANY more posts!

Here is Miss M, whom I photographed about a month ago! She was such a sweetheart! She Loved the cake and the balloons! I will be posting her one year photos soon, so come back and check them out!!

Smash the Cake

Here he is, covered in cake. Tucker was so much fun! He was NOT afraid of the yummy chocolate cake in front of him. As you can see from the pictures, he was all over the cake eating (literally :) He smashed the cake so fast I had to take a million pictures a minute. Happy Birthday Tucker!

Look who's turning 1!

I did my first cake eating shoot and it was a blast! This is my dear friends little boy, isn't he a cutie? I was so happy when he started digging into the cake (well first he just ate the green frosting). I got so many great shots and here are a few:












And of course we had to get a picture after he was all cleaned up :)
