What I got for Christmas....

No, I didn't get these 2 beauties, although I did get to play with them for 2 days straight while we braved the Nebraska blizzard from inside our home:) What I did get for Christmas was a new backdrop stand. I have been taking so many newborn pictures recently that I guess Santa thought I needed to upgrade :)

So, I am now booking indoor individual and newborn sessions. I am still a natural light photographer so they need to be scheduled during daylight hours.

And I am enjoying EVERY minute of it. In 2 weeks I had 5 newborn shoots. I am almost done editing and posting them all, so I will be looking for a few more newborns to play with :)

This baby girl is so precious! She was awake the whole time, but didn't make a peep (until big brother got ahold of her :). She was ready for anything and didn't seem to mind the chaos around her. It was such a nice day (yes, this was 2 weeks ago, before the 2 feet of snow) so we were able to go in the backyard and snap some family shots. Here you all go, Enjoy!

Newborn!! Did I say that I just LOVE new borns? I am so excited that I have been able to meet so many little babies this last month. I still have 3 more to post about!

Well here is Mister {m}. I have known his family for a little over a year now and photographed them twice. I was so excited to meet this new little one. He wanted to wiggle wiggle wiggle, he did not like his clothes off and he did not want to sleep. But he was still a great sport and oh so squeezable! Enjoy!

Mom wanted shots of his feet because his toes were like fingers, but he kept bending the toes back. Babies have their own little mind :)

Just had this little hat made and was so excited to use it. {m} wasn't as excited as I was :)

Meet Little Miss {h}

I LOVE newborns. They take a lot of work, but every picture comes out so sweet! Miss {h} was no exception! She didn't want to sleep, but we finally got her there and the pictures turned out perfect! Enjoy!

Absolutely LOVED this one. Her mouth open is so perfect :)

And here is the whole family. They are all so happy to have little {h} join them! She is a lucky girl, she is loved so much by big brother and sister!

This little guy was such a handsome little thing, as you can see from the pictures. He didn't want to sleep (as it is for most newborns getting their pictures taken), but we still got some great sleepy pictures and my favorite, tender little moments with dad :)

My ultimate favorite pose. Have to work for it, but it is SO sweet!

Waiting..

I knew these 2 just a tiny bit before meeting them. I met them before we moved to our new house (over a year ago). {t} got ahold of me and wanted me to take some picture for their adoption portfolio. They were such a blast! We had a great time walking around downtown and getting shots of the two of them.

I wish them the best of luck! I have heard adoption is a long process. But from what I know about the 2 of them any baby would be lucky to end up in their home!

This is FALL

{c}'s mom called me up on a warm sunny day in October and asked if I could fit them in. It was great weather (which we hadn't been having) so I met them at Earl May. {c}'s mom suggested the place and called ahead of time to make sure we could use their displays in the pictures. We had to block a lot of sun, but it was the PERFECT place for fall pictures.

Got to LOVE this lip! Do you think he is done with pictures?
