Note From the Photographer

HI! I'm Becky Anderson. I am a natural light photographer. I find that natural light captures the emotion and personality of those I photograph best.

I do the majority of my photographs outdoors for two reasons. One, I love the element that nature, with its deep hues and filtered light, brings to the photo. Second, the natural light in the openness of the great outdoors brings an artistic element to photos that is gorgeous and unique.

If you are interested in scheduling a session or have any questions, please e-mail me at b.anderson.photography@gmail.com

I hope you enjoy my capture of life's greatest moments.

I am located in Thornton Colorado and serve the north Denver area. Also willing to travel, please contact me.

Maternity

So I took these pictures months ago, in hopes to post a few maternity shots. Well I completely forgot about them until now. I am currently working organizing and changing my blog, so sorry for the random posts, please bear with me :) Thanks!!

My Galleries

The rest of the {m} family

I had SO much fun with these guys! Mama {m} wanted something different and was up for anything from traditional to funky. These kids were so much fun and the pictures portray their fun personalities. They were also great sports willing to walk all around, thank goodness for the overcast day!

Thank you for the great time mama {m}! I look forward to working with you again!

Oh yeah, here is a little WARNING. Picture overload!!

Here they all are {M}...{C}...{C2} (they are twins :) and...{L}

Something about this shot I just LOVED!

Mama {m} also wanted to try and get some shots with damask (the pattern in the next picture). My question is, does it work with this shot?

I couldn't decide on these two. I love how open her eyes are on the serious one, but I also LOVE smiles. Also did 2 different edits. Love them both, so there you have it 2 pictures of sweet {L}

Here is a little different shot. I liked it because it is something different, not the traditional. Are the blurry posts distracting?

And had to post this one. Look at the air {L} got. Can't tell she is a dancer can you?

{m} again

I got to watch and photograph {m} as she smashed her cake. I also got to take her 1 year portraits. Here they are finally! Between vacations and life, I completely forgot to post them on my blog! Hopefully your 2nd year is as wonderful as the first!

Things to come....

I got to take pictures of these AWESOME kids today. More to come and so many great ones to choose from :)

Alright I will give you a little sneakpeak of their faces:

**Tried adding some texture. I usually like nice clean photos (my excuse for not being able to achieve awesome texture pictures :), but thought I would venture out and try something new. What do you think? Can you tell it has texture or does it just look dark and dirty. I would love any feed back! Thanks!

Growing little boy...

E is back. If you don't remember him, check him out at 3 months here. Now he is almost 9 months and boy has he changed! Mom wanted to get pictures before he starting crawling, so in my opinion he is at the perfect stage. He sat and smiled for me as long as I wanted him to and let me know when I wasn't being funny anymore :)

I couldn't decide which one I like better (the next 2 pictures), so I posted them both. Let me know which you like better and why :)

He was so interested in the little kids riding their bike past us.

A day at the Park...

So do you remember Fridays weather (those from Lincoln)? I thought it would be nice and cool, but by 10:00 it was so HOT my poor little girls had drenched hair. Anyway, I picked this day to get a few pictures my 2 year old(her birthday shots) and invited some friends to come along. Here are the shots that I got. Needless to say we cut the park date short and headed home for a swim :)

**I have to say that 18 months to 2 years are the HARDEST to take pictures of, but once you get a good picture it is PERFECT because it is so them, no fake smile :) **

These are A to a T....She doesn't do cheesy smiles, it is all in her eyes.

And here is one of her being her silly little self.

I also took O's 5 year pictures. It isn't for a few months, but I like to hang matching pictures. This girl is my photogenic model. She LOVES getting her picture taken and I LOVE taking it. I think it has something to do with her being my oldest and me using her as my model since she was tiny.

I couldn't pass up the opportunity to take some sister pictures to hang in their room.
Sweet moments :)

And here are a couple of the kiddo's that we dragged along :) Thanks!!

A boy and a truck

These pictures were take a couple weeks ago, but my computer crashed, so I am finally getting them up. Thank goodness they weren't lost :) They were taken before B's baby brother (baby D below) was born. He wasn't very excited about getting his picture taken, but once he got to get inside the truck he was all smiles. Thanks to the nice gentleman who has given me permission to use his truck and thanks B for the great pictures!

She fills our lives with sunshine. . .

My little baby just turned 2 a couple weeks ago. I guess at 2 I should stop calling her my baby, but I just don't want to admit that she is getting so big. It has taken me this long to get her 2 year pictures taken and I don't know if I am completely satisfied, so you may see a second try later :)

Here is a little storyboard I put together. It is an 8 X 12.

H Boys

These two were so much fun! Both of them were always ready with a smile, I think a bribe with Fireworks helped out with this as well :) They are 2 great little boys! Their mom (and dad) are lucky to have such incredibly sweet boys. Thanks for the fun time and the opportunity to meet you and play with you!

And here is one for their mom. Aren't they so sweet?
