Note From the Photographer

HI! I'm Becky Anderson. I am a natural light photographer. I find that natural light captures the emotion and personality of those I photograph best.

I do the majority of my photographs outdoors for two reasons. One, I love the element that nature, with its deep hues and filtered light, brings to the photo. Second, the natural light in the openness of the great outdoors brings an artistic element to photos that is gorgeous and unique.

If you are interested in scheduling a session or have any questions, please e-mail me at b.anderson.photography@gmail.com

I hope you enjoy my capture of life's greatest moments.

I am located in Thornton Colorado and serve the north Denver area. Also willing to travel, please contact me.

Homegrown Friday.......{Thornton CO Photographer}

I am so excited to start my new weekly posts!

Welcome to my Homegrown Fridays! Each Friday I will post about a locally made product by a locally owned Business. Most of them will be crafters, but you never know who I will find :) This is a great way for us (me included) to meet and get to know local businesses so we can help support them. So onto my first Homegrown.....

She is owner and Operator of

Glitter, Feathers, and Love Hair Boutique

Where did the name come from? Feathers and glitter are very popular in fashion right now and I wanted something that could be fashionable and affordable for moms to purchase for their little girls.

Do you have a storefront, website, blog, Facebook or Etsy? I have a Facebook and an Etsy Shop.

Where are you currently located? Thornton, CO

Tell us about your family? I just got married on November 11, 2011 and We are expecting our first daughter in October. I have two dogs, Sydney Lou the golden lab retriever and china the chihuahua. I have a huge extended family that is there to support me through everything. My family means so much to me.

Tell us about your product and the concepts behind it: I sale hair accessories that are affordable for everyone. I don't like to spend a Million dollars on homemade items, so no one else should have to. The concept is great fashion at affordable prices.

What makes your product/business so unique? It's unique because it doesn't cost an arm and a leg for a homemade hair accessory. Also everything I make is made with love. I don't just take a flower or bow  and tack  a clip to it.

Who is your biggest inspiration? My mom and grandmother. They are both very crafty people. They showed me everything I know.

Where are you from? Cortez, CO

What is your favorite place to eat? My favorite place to eat is at home because I love to cook and bake and try out new recipes. You can't get home cooking anywhere but home.

What makes you smile? Little baby giggles, talking to my family and feeling my baby girl kick.

When you have free time what is your favorite thing to do? I like to hang out in the sun, hang out with my in laws, go shopping, sing, dance, and do crafts.

Thank you Ronni! It was great to get to know you and your business a little bit better!

Another reason to LOVE fridays- I will now be looking forward to reading your homegrown post!! I simply love the idea, one of those things that make you go "oh man how clever... wish I'd thought of that!" (and thats how you know it is a really good idea ;) But I'm all for homegrown and homemade and I'm excited to see what the creative people in Colorado are doing! And I agree, we all need a bit more glitter in our lives.
